Nollywood Actress Sarah Martins Refuses to Pay Tithe

Nollywood actress and content creator Sarah Martins has sparked discussion by revealing her decision not to pay tithe, choosing instead to use her funds to feed and empower the less fortunate. In a recent interview, she highlighted her charitable efforts, including cooking for as many as 1,000 people at once, which she funded and prepared entirely by herself.

Born Chukwukere Sarah Ujunwa on August 18, 1991, in Imo State, Martins studied at Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic and later obtained a degree from the University of Port Harcourt. She began her acting career in 2016 and has appeared in various Nollywood productions.

Beyond acting, she operates Sarah's Place Empire in Port Harcourt and runs a YouTube channel where she distributes Nollywood content. Martins disclosed that her highest monthly earnings reached ₦40 million, while her most expensive movie production cost ₦15 million, which did not recoup its budget.

She maintains that giving to those who cannot repay is the highest form of love.
