Gov. Agbu Kefas Receives International Golden Award

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has been awarded the International Golden Award, which reflects his numerous achievements during his three years in office. Hon. Moses Maihankali, Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Taraba State Chapter, made this statement in an interview in Jalingo.

He noted that the Liberia 2026 presidential excellence award, presented to Kefas by Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung, further demonstrates the global recognition of his administration's progress. Maihankali commended Kefas for his developmental initiatives in education, agriculture, security, health, and infrastructure, as well as for the ongoing payments of gratuities to local government and state pensions, marking a significant milestone in the state.

He called for collective support for Kefas’ administration to help realize its vision for Taraba. The award ceremony took place in Liberia, organized by the National Secretariat of the Organization in collaboration with the Liberia Crusaders for Peace and the government of Liberia.
