IPMAN Applauds Ofoegbu's Appointment in Anambra

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has praised the appointment of Prof. Charles Ofoegbu as the Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Anambra State.

Chinedu Anyaso, the Chairman of IPMAN Enugu Depot, made this commendation on Wednesday in response to the list of commission nominees published on Tuesday. Anyaso described Ofoegbu's appointment as a "square peg in a square hole," citing his years of theoretical and practical experience in the oil and gas sector.

Ofoegbu is currently the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State Solid Mineral Development Company Limited. Anyaso expressed confidence that Ofoegbu would significantly contribute to the development of the petroleum sector in Anambra State, creating economic opportunities and enhancing downstream operations.

He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his choice of Ofoegbu, emphasizing the need for strategic leadership in the sector and looking forward to a productive working relationship.
