Victor Moses Stranded in Dubai Amid Nigeria's Evacuation Efforts

Victor Moses, a 35-year-old Nigerian footballer, is currently stranded in Dubai due to escalating tensions in the Middle East involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. The Nigerian government has initiated the evacuation of its citizens caught in the conflict, with the Nigerian Embassy in Iran already evacuating individuals to the Armenian border.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, stated that no Nigerians in Iran have been affected by the conflict so far. The Nigerian government has an emergency team on standby to facilitate wider evacuations once the region's airspace reopens.

Meanwhile, Moses is unable to leave Dubai, which has disrupted his travel plans to Kazakhstan, where he is set to join FC Kaisar in the Kazakhstan Premier League. His fellow Nigerian forward, Imoh Ezekiel, is also affected and will miss the season opener against FK Zhenit on March 8 due to travel delays.
