Iran Warns Nations Supporting US Sanctions as Enemies

On a recent broadcast, Mohsen Rezai, the head of Iran's supreme national security council, issued a warning to countries considering participation in the United States' economic sanctions against Iran, stating that such nations would be regarded as enemies. This statement comes as the U.S. continues its campaign to isolate the Iranian economy under President Donald Trump, which has now entered its sixth month.

Rezai emphasized that Iran has not yet targeted American economic interests but has only attacked military bases. He threatened that if the U.S. imposes further economic sanctions, Iran would retaliate against American oil and economic companies in the region.

Rezai's remarks also included a warning that if Trump takes action, the confrontation would be significant, likening it to an earthquake. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates announced the suspension of all trade and financial transactions with Tehran until further notice, and China criticized the U.S. initiative, arguing that sanctions would not resolve Middle Eastern conflicts.
