Iran's Foreign Minister Meets Putin Amid US Talks Stalemate

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Russia on Monday to engage in discussions with President Vladimir Putin, as part of diplomatic efforts to end ongoing conflicts. This visit follows Araghchi's trip to Islamabad and Oman, where he insisted that Iran would not hold talks with the US amid a naval blockade.

Kazem Jalali, the Iranian ambassador to Moscow, stated that the country is united in its campaign against what it perceives as totalitarian forces seeking to undermine its independence and justice. The meeting is expected to focus on coordinating interactions and advancing joint programs at both regional and international levels.

Meanwhile, media reports indicate that indirect talks between Iran and the US are ongoing, with Iran reportedly providing a list of red lines to the US via Pakistani media. These red lines include nuclear issues and the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

President Donald Trump expressed a willingness to communicate with Iranian leaders but emphasized that there would be no reason for a meeting if Iran does not agree to refrain from developing nuclear weapons.
