Sheikh Dr. Gusau Enters Zamfara Governorship Race

Sheikh Dr. Abdulmutallib Mohammad Gusau, a prominent Islamic scholar, has officially joined the Zamfara State governorship race on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He expressed his decision to enter politics as a means to lead by example, emphasizing the need for action over words. Gusau criticized the current administration led by Governor Dauda Lawal for failing to tackle security challenges and high levels of poverty affecting the populace.

He lamented the lack of belief in judgment among politicians and vowed to bring positive change to the state if elected. Gusau addressed thousands of supporters during his registration, expressing optimism that the ADC could help rescue Nigeria from its current economic hardships.

He called for public support for his candidacy, promising to account for his leadership and to preach against immorality if he gains power.
