ISWAP Leader Gets 20-Year Jail Term for Terror Attacks in Kano State

Hussaini Ismaila, a leader of ISWAP, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison by Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja for his role in orchestrating multiple terror attacks in Kano State. Ismaila pleaded guilty to four charges filed by the Department of State Services (DSS), admitting his involvement in attacks on various police stations and other locations in 2012.

The court found him guilty on all counts and ordered his rehabilitation upon completion of the sentence.
