Soludo Accuses Politicians of Sponsoring Sit-at-Home Orders in Anambra State

Anambra State Governor Soludo has accused politicians of orchestrating the sit-at-home orders in the state, branding it as economic sabotage. He emphasized that the weekly closure of major markets was a coordinated effort to disrupt economic activities.

Soludo warned traders against complying with the sit-at-home orders, threatening legal action and dismissals for those who fail to reopen markets after the current sanction expires. The Governor highlighted that the closure of markets was unauthorized and stressed that markets operated freely during the Christmas and New Year period without significant security incidents.

Soludo urged traders to disregard the sit-at-home orders and resume normal economic activities to prevent further disruption.
