Timi Dakolo Exposes Instagram Vendor Scam for iPhone

Timi Dakolo, an award-winning Nigerian singer, took to Instagram on September 9 to call out an online gadget vendor who he claims collected payment for an iPhone 17 intended as a gift for his wife but failed to deliver the product. Four months after the transaction, neither the phone nor a refund has been received.

Dakolo reported that the vendor provided a series of excuses during this period, including claims that the device was in transit and would be delivered soon. When Dakolo attempted to publicly address the issue, he found himself blocked from tagging or mentioning the vendor's account.

The vendor is reportedly based in Canada, complicating any potential confrontation. Dakolo shared screenshots of the vendor's profile and urged his followers to repost his warning to prevent others from falling victim to similar scams.

His post garnered sympathy from followers who shared their own experiences with unreliable online vendors.
