Peller, a TikToker, described a chaotic atmosphere surrounding his traditional wedding in Lagos, where incidents of phone theft and a road accident occurred outside the venue. During a livestream, he expressed disappointment that the joyful celebration was marred by these disruptions.

Peller mentioned that he wanted his upcoming white wedding to differ from the traditional ceremony due to the chaos experienced. He reported that guests were targeted by suspected hoodlums, known as agberos, who were prevalent outside the venue.
