Johnny Drille Reveals Marriage to Rima Tahini at Mavin

Nigerian singer Johnny Drille disclosed that he met his wife, Rima Tahini, during his tenure at Mavin Records, where Tahini worked as the Director of A&R. Their relationship began around November or December 2018 while Drille was signed to the label.

In an interview with Music Moments, he expressed gratitude towards Mavin Records and its founder, Don Jazzy, for fostering the environment that allowed their connection to flourish. The couple chose to keep their relationship private for approximately five years, only confirming it publicly in July 2023, by which time they had already been married for over a year.

Drille stated, “It wasn’t easy keeping it under wraps, but I am grateful.” The couple later announced the birth of their first child, Amaris Esohe Ighodaro.
