Gboyega Nasir Isiaka Announces 2027 Ogun Governorship Bid

Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, a member of the House of Representatives representing the Imeko/Afon Yewa North Federal Constituency, has announced his intention to contest the 2027 gubernatorial elections in Ogun State. This declaration was made during an interactive session with journalists in Abeokuta.

Isiaka, who is affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC), highlighted his extensive experience and strong academic background, asserting that he is a bona fide indigene of Ogun State with no controversies surrounding his candidacy. He aims to build a viable economy, improve healthcare, and enhance education in the state.

Isiaka has previously attempted to secure the governorship in 2011, 2015, and 2019 without success. He called for fairness and transparency in the selection of party candidates and urged party leaders to support whoever emerges as the candidate for the upcoming elections.

His campaign focuses on creating a prosperous Ogun State and addressing infrastructural needs.
