Falz Denies Endorsing Peter Obi in 2023 Elections

Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, clarified during an appearance on Prime Time on Arise Television that he has never endorsed any politician or political party, specifically denying claims of supporting Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi during the 2023 general election. Falz stated that while he encourages Nigerians to vote, he has refrained from publicly backing any political figure due to his concerns about the political class in Nigeria.

He remarked on the cyclical nature of Nigeria’s political landscape, where the same individuals repeatedly occupy positions of power, making it difficult to support any politician confidently. Falz indicated that he might consider endorsing a candidate in the future if someone earns his trust.

He urged Nigerians, particularly the youth, to actively participate in the upcoming 2027 general elections, asserting that a high voter turnout would reduce the likelihood of election manipulation. Falz has been a prominent voice in advocating for governance, accountability, and civic responsibility in Nigeria.
