Halima Abubakar Returns to Nollywood After Healing

Halima Abubakar, a Nollywood actress, announced her return to the film industry after a 13-year absence due to prolonged health challenges. She made this announcement during a thanksgiving program in Lagos on a Saturday, where she expressed gratitude for her recovery, attributing it to divine healing.

Abubakar stated that she is ready to resume her career and intends to focus on producing faith-based films that inspire people rather than glorify rituals. She called for greater unity and support among practitioners in the Nigerian film industry, highlighting a lack of love, empathy, and trust.

Abubakar's recovery was praised by Apostle Queen Belemzi, who described her healing as inspirational. The event was organized by Cornelius Udofia, the director of the Lagos State chapter of the Actor Guild Nigeria (AGN), who congratulated Abubakar and encouraged others in the entertainment industry to remain steadfast in their faith.
