Women Empowering Africa's Digital Infrastructure on March 13

Africa Hyperscal is set to host a virtual session on March 13, 2026, to highlight the contributions of women in Africa's rapidly expanding digital infrastructure sector. Themed "Give, Gain, Build Africa's Digital Infrastructure Together," the event will gather industry leaders to discuss collaboration, mentorship, and inclusive leadership opportunities for women across Africa's connectivity, cloud, data center, and policy ecosystems.

Notable speakers include Adesola Adesugba (Wiocc Group), Sade Dada (Meta), Ayomid Jone (Equinix), and Gbemisola Osunrind (Nigcomsat), among others. The session aims to explore strategies to strengthen women's participation in leadership roles within the sector, which remains predominantly male-dominated.

The program will also feature discussions with male industry leaders to reflect support for women's advancement. This initiative is part of a broader effort to foster dialogue around partnerships, talent development, and policy frameworks necessary for accelerating Africa's digital infrastructure growth, coinciding with the release of the Africa Hyperscal Pan-African Women in Digital Infrastructure report.
