Alex Iwobi, a player for the Super Eagles, has publicly debunked reports claiming that his London home was burglarized, resulting in a loss of £200,000 in valuables. The reports suggested that the burglary occurred at knife point.

However, team officials from the Super Eagles clarified that no such incident took place. Iwobi arrived early in Antalya, Turkey, ahead of the Super Eagles' friendly matches against Iran on March 27 and Jordan four days later.

These matches are part of the team's preparations during the international break, with both Iran and Jordan set to feature in the 2026 World Cup this summer.
