Alex Iwobi Achieves 100 EPL Appearances for Third Club

Alex Iwobi, a midfielder for Fulham, made Premier League history by becoming only the fifth player to achieve 100 appearances for three different clubs during a match against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage on Saturday. Iwobi had previously made 100 appearances for Arsenal and 123 for Everton, bringing his overall tally in the Premier League to 322 matches.

The match ended in a 3-2 defeat for Fulham, who had taken the lead through Joshua King. Crystal Palace equalized with goals from Tyrick Mitchell, who scored twice, and Ben Chilwell secured the win.

Iwobi's journey began in Lagos, Nigeria, before moving to England and joining Arsenal's Hale End academy at six. He debuted for Arsenal in the 2015/16 season and later transferred to Everton for around €34 million in August 2019.

His standout season came in 2022/23, where he started all 38 Premier League matches for Everton.
