Chuka Iwobi, the father of Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi, has publicly debunked claims that his son's London home was robbed. The reports suggested that armed intruders had broken into the residence, stealing valuables worth approximately £500,000, including jewelry, luxury watches, a MacBook, two iPhones, and cash.

Chuka Iwobi clarified that Alex was already in Turkey preparing for a friendly match when the rumors began circulating online. He spoke directly to veteran Nigerian journalist Colin Udoh to set the record straight, confirming that there was absolutely no attempt to burglarize the house.

Alex Iwobi is currently part of the Super Eagles camp in Antalya, Turkey, ahead of an international friendly against Iran scheduled for March 31. Chuka expressed his frustration over the rapid spread of false information and reassured fans of his son's safety, emphasizing the need to combat such misinformation.
