JAMB Schedules June 13 for 2026 UTME Mop-Up Exam

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that a mop-up examination for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will take place on June 13, 2026. This examination is intended for candidates who were unable to sit for the main exam due to technical challenges, particularly issues with biometric verification.

According to a statement signed by JAMB's Fabian Benjamin, the mop-up exam represents the final stage of the 2026 UTME cycle, which was conducted from April 23 to April 29, 2026. Candidates whose results were withdrawn due to alleged examination infractions or those who experienced technical failures at their centers will be eligible to participate.

JAMB emphasized that candidates must print their examination notification slips by June 6, 2026, and warned that no further opportunities will be provided after this mop-up exam. The board also noted that the results from the main examination began to be released on April 18, 2026.
