JAMB Opens 2026 Direct Entry Registration Portal

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially opened the registration portal for the 2026 Direct Entry program. The registration process is designed to allow eligible candidates to secure placement directly into the 200 level of university programs without taking the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Eligible qualifications include the National Diploma and the National Certificate in Education, among others. JAMB emphasizes that the entire registration process will be handled strictly and transparently, with candidates required to purchase a PIN for the application document.

The registration period will conclude on February 28, 2026. JAMB has advised prospective candidates to begin their applications early to avoid last-minute rushes and has reiterated the importance of adhering to its guidelines for approved registration activities.
