JAMB Warns CBT Centers as 2026 UTME Registration Begins

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the registration process for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The registration will run from January 26 to February 28, with accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers across the country facilitating the process.

The Registrar of the Board, Oloyede, disclosed this during a meeting in Lagos. The registration process involves the sale of UTME application documents known as ePINs, with the actual registration starting after this.

Candidates interested in participating in the UTME mock examination can select February 16 as the date, while the sale of Direct Entry application documents will begin on March 2 and end on April 25. JAMB emphasized that underage candidates' results will not be released until a thorough evaluation process is completed.

The Board also warned CBT centers that fail to adhere to registration guidelines, stating that sanctions will be imposed. Candidates are advised to register early to secure preferred examination towns.
