JAMB Orders Public Universities to Conclude 2025 Admissions, Sets Date

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed public universities in Nigeria to conclude the 2025 admission process by October 31, 2025. This directive, outlined in the board's weekly bulletin, also applies to private universities, which must finalize admissions by November 30, 2025.

All tertiary institutions, whether public or private, are expected to complete the admission process by December 31, 2025. JAMB aims to stabilize the academic calendar and ensure equitable access to admission slots across the country.

The board emphasized the importance of early finalization of admissions, urging institutions not to delay the process. Institutions conducting screenings are expected to complete the exercise in a timely manner to comply with the 2025 admission schedule.
