JAMB's New Registrar Launches Five-Year Development Agenda

Professor Segun Aina has officially taken office as the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), succeeding Prof. Is-haq Oloyede.

On his first day, he introduced a five-year development agenda (2026–2031) titled “Project 2:5:7,” which includes two strategic objectives, five enduring pillars, and seven flagship initiatives. The agenda aims to enhance JAMB's reputation as Africa's most trusted and innovative assessment institution.

Key initiatives include a comprehensive technology review, achieving ISO 27001 Information Security Certification, developing a unified mobile app, and implementing a paperless digital administration system. Aina emphasized that while technology is crucial, the people remain JAMB's greatest asset.

He committed to improving processes, ensuring fairness and transparency, and fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork among staff. Aina's vision is to build robust systems that will endure beyond individual leadership, reinforcing JAMB's credibility through strong institutional values and partnerships.
