JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Results and Warns Against Fraud

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results on a Friday. According to a statement from a JAMB spokesperson, the results are currently available for candidates to view.

However, candidates are advised that printing of results is not yet possible. JAMB has issued a warning against any attempts to manipulate results, stating that such actions are serious criminal offenses and will be treated with utmost gravity.

The board emphasized that candidates can check their results by sending "utmeresult" via SMS to the numbers 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with JAMB. Additionally, JAMB disclosed that two candidates under parental custody were engaged in result falsification, which has led to the potential arrest and prosecution of individuals involved in such misconduct.
