Arsenal Signs James Scanlon from Manchester United

James Scanlon, a 19-year-old Gibraltar international, has reportedly completed his medical with Arsenal, indicating a forthcoming transfer from Manchester United to the Gunners. The transfer is expected to be finalized within 48 hours and is understood to be a free transfer, although Manchester United will retain a 40 percent sell-on clause.

Scanlon, who has been recognized for his versatility as an attacker, is anticipated to initially join Arsenal's Under-21 side under head coach David Horseman. His previous relationship with Horseman at Manchester United is believed to have influenced his move to Arsenal, providing a smoother transition into the new environment.

Scanlon's ability to play on either wing and as an attacking midfielder offers tactical flexibility for Horseman.
