Jerry Eze Foundation Grants N1bn to 240 Entrepreneurs

The Jerry Eze Foundation held a grant award ceremony in Abuja, distributing a total of N1 billion to 240 small and micro business owners, with each recipient receiving N3,000. This initiative is part of the foundation's mission to translate faith into measurable economic transformation.

The event brought together business leaders, clergy, and public figures to empower a new generation of Nigerian entrepreneurs. KPMG managed the selection process, which involved 16,000 applicants, with 9,668 completing the process and meeting strict criteria.

The selected entrepreneurs primarily operate in agriculture, agribusiness, manufacturing, and technology sectors. Dr.

Obi Ezekwesili, former Vice President of the World Bank for Africa, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the need for scaling businesses with purpose. Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of the foundation, highlighted the importance of community and trust in business.

The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Dr. Ibukun Awosika and Richard Mofe-Damijo, marking a significant milestone in supporting Nigerian entrepreneurs.
