Jerri Ez Foundation Grants $3,000 to 240 Businesses

The Jerri Ez Foundation, led by Pastor Jerri Ez, disbursed a total of N1 billion in grants to 240 small and micro business owners during an award ceremony held at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. Each beneficiary received $3,000 as part of the foundation's broader initiative to support entrepreneurship and translate philanthropic efforts into economic impact.

The event brought together stakeholders from various sectors, including business, government, and entertainment. KPMG was engaged as an independent consultant to manage the selection process, which involved 16,000 applicants, with 9,668 completing the eligibility criteria.

The selected entrepreneurs were primarily focused on three sectors: agriculture, agribusiness, and technology. Keynote speaker Dr. Obi Ezekwesili emphasized the importance of scaling impact, while Dr. Ibukun Awosika encouraged beneficiaries to leverage collaboration.

The ceremony attracted notable figures, including Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu and various leaders from the business and entertainment sectors.
