Gabriel Jesus Joins Barcelona from Arsenal for €15 Million

Gabriel Jesus officially joined Barcelona from Arsenal on Tuesday, signing a three-year contract valued at up to €15 million (£12.85 million), which includes a sell-on fee. At his presentation, Jesus stated he accepted a significant salary reduction to realize his dream of playing for Barcelona.

He expressed that just a month prior, he did not foresee this opportunity at 29 years old. The transfer materialized quickly over the weekend after Barcelona was unable to secure their primary target, Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez.

Jesus acknowledged that both he and Barcelona made efforts to finalize the transfer, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the deal.
