Jethvani and Akachukwu Triumph at South African Golf Tournament

The 4th South African Golf Tournament concluded over the weekend at Ikoyi Club 1938, featuring notable performances from Jagdish Jethvani and Ihuaru Akachukwu. Jethvani achieved an outstanding score of 42 stableford points over 18 holes, earning him the best men's score and the championship title.

He expressed satisfaction with his performance despite challenging weather conditions. Emmanuel Onyeka finished second with 39 points after a countback.

In the women's category, Ihuaru Akachukwu claimed the top honor with 35 points, edging out Lynda Obiez, who placed second on countback, while Dammi Oruwari secured third with 34 points. Kgothatso Xulu, the acting consul general of South Africa, noted the tournament's growth and its role in fostering business relationships between South Africa and Nigeria.

Tolu Adesemowo, CEO of Crossflex International Limited, emphasized the event's significance in creating new partnerships. Other winners included Aruna Sharma for the longest drive and Hein Coetzer for the nearest pin.
