Nakudu Rejects Replacement Calls Amid Allegations in Jigawa

Sabo Nakudu, the governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Jigawa State, has publicly rejected calls for his replacement, which arose from allegations made against him. In a statement signed by his campaign spokesperson, Mati Ali Nakudu, he characterized the petition as entirely false, malicious, and defamatory, aimed at tarnishing his reputation and credibility as a political candidate.

Nakudu emphasized that the allegations were part of a calculated attempt to create unnecessary controversy and distract from the ADC's growing momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections. He noted that these unfounded claims were orchestrated by disgruntled political actors both within and outside the party, seeking to undermine the democratic process and the aspirations of the people of Jigawa State.

Nakudu firmly stated that he has not been convicted or found guilty of any corrupt misconduct, asserting that such malicious insinuations are recycled narratives that surface during election seasons without any legal basis.
