Jigawa Governor Swears in Six New Aides for Development

On Monday, Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi administered the oath of office to six new aides at the Council Chamber of the Jigawa State Government House in Dutse. The event was officiated by the state’s Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Abdulkadir Fanini.

The appointees include Muftahu Majia as Technical Adviser on Higher Education, Salma Wakili as Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship, Adamu Garkuwa as Special Adviser on Hajj Affairs, Mubarak Aliyu as Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs, Musbahu Kaugama as Special Adviser on Special Investment, and Bala Sule as Special Adviser on Non-Governmental Organisations. Governor Namadi urged the new aides to work collaboratively and uphold their oaths to enhance governance and development in Jigawa.

He emphasized that the appointees were selected based on merit and grassroots connections. In response, Majia expressed gratitude for the trust placed in them and committed to teamwork and service delivery aligned with the vision for a better Jigawa.
