Jigawa Residents Intercept Vehicle with Explosives

On April 10, residents of the Gada area on the outskirts of Kazaur Town in the Kazaur Local Government Area of Jigawa State intercepted a Volkswagen Golf vehicle loaded with suspected explosive materials. According to security consultant Zagazola Makama, the vehicle was reported to have fled the scene upon confrontation by vigilant community members.

The occupants abandoned the vehicle, which was subsequently recovered by the residents. Following the recovery, the items were evacuated and handed over to security agents for further investigation.

Efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing suspects and determine the nature of the recovered materials.
