Jigawa State Speaker Survives Convoy Accident En Route Rally

The Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, narrowly escaped death in a convoy accident while heading to a political rally in Maigatari Local Government Area. The incident occurred when an escort vehicle carrying a police officer lost control and somersaulted, resulting in injuries.

The injured policeman was rushed to Gumel General Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged. The Speaker's car managed to stop meters away from the accident scene.
