JOHESU Suspends Ministry Picketing as Tinubu Forms Committee on CONHESS

The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) has halted its picketing of the Ministry of Health following the intervention of a high-level committee set up by Tinubu. This move comes after JOHESU and other healthcare professional associations began an indefinite nationwide strike due to the government's failure to implement salary adjustments.

The committee, including governors and labor representatives, aims to address the longstanding demand for CONHESS adjustments. JOHESU expressed cautious optimism, signaling a temporary respite in industrial action pending the committee's outcomes.
