JOHESU Ends 84-Day Nationwide Strike After Emergency Meeting

The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) has decided to suspend its nationwide strike after 84 days of industrial action. The decision was made during an emergency meeting of the union's National Executive Council (NEC) held in Abuja.

The suspension came after a review of the outcomes of the conciliation meeting between JOHESU and the Federal Government, which took place at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment headquarters. The strike was halted to enable the Federal Government to implement the terms of settlement agreed upon with JOHESU.
