Dele Momodu Warns Jonathan, Peter Obi Against Independent Run in 2027 Election

Dele Momodu, a former PDP stalwart, cautioned Jonathan and Peter Obi against challenging Bola Tinubu independently in the 2027 presidential race. Momodu emphasized the need for opposition parties to unite and deploy strategic alliances to counter the growing dominance of the APC.

Despite recent defections to the APC, Momodu believes that a narrow chance exists for opposition success through coalition building. He dismissed the idea of a southern candidate defeating Tinubu independently and advocated for a viable northern Muslim presidential candidate with a southern Christian running mate.
