Jonathan's Kinsmen Reaffirm Loyalty to PDP in Bayelsa

Kinsmen of former President Goodluck Jonathan in Ogbia, Bayelsa State, have pledged their loyalty to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) despite facing ongoing challenges. This declaration was made by George Turnah, the acting chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa State, during the party's local government congress held in Ogbia over the weekend.

Turnah commended the massive turnout of party members, describing the congress as a sign of the PDP's strength in the state. He emphasized the historical role of the PDP in the political rise of the Ogbia people and urged them not to abandon the party during these difficult times.

Turnah also praised the peaceful conduct of the congress across the state and acknowledged the role of the Independent National Electoral Commission in monitoring the exercise. He lauded Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike as a national leader of the party and commended Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri for creating a peaceful atmosphere for political activities.
