PDP Remains Dominant in Bayelsa, Says George Turnah

George Turnah, a prominent figure in the People's Democratic Party (PDP), declared that the PDP continues to be the dominant political party in Bayelsa State. During a recent event, he called on party members to unite and work collaboratively, emphasizing the importance of family within the party.

Turnah highlighted the successful election of a new 20-member state working committee, which includes Ato Alfred as Secretary and Biobelemoye Goniwari as Treasurer, under the supervision of Hon. Austin Sor from the electoral panel.

He expressed gratitude to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for overseeing the election and assured that the newly elected committee would honor the mandate given by the people. Turnah reaffirmed the PDP's commitment to governance in Bayelsa, stating that the party would maintain its strength and leadership, particularly in the upcoming 2027 elections.

He urged members to remain steadfast and loyal to the party, reinforcing that the PDP will continue to serve the interests of the Ijaw people and the state.
