Wike Reaffirms Loyalty to PDP at NEC Meeting in Abuja

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, declared his unwavering loyalty to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) during a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja. He emphasized his commitment to the party since 1998 and assured members of his continued support despite challenges.

Wike congratulated the newly elected chairman, Abdulrahman Moham, and praised the party's efforts to reclaim its national secretariat. He urged members to remain steadfast and transparent, highlighting the importance of unity and addressing past leadership mistakes.

Wike also mentioned the need for the party to prepare for the upcoming 2027 elections, indicating that the NEC would soon announce a timetable for the purchase of nomination forms. He reassured party members of the legal team's competence in handling ongoing litigations and called for open communication within the party to foster reconciliation and growth.
