Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan Demands Action After Jos Attack

On March 27, a brutal attack in Angwan Rukuba resulted in the deaths of 30 individuals, primarily Christians. In response, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has demanded immediate action from Defence Minister General Christoph Musa.

In her statement shared via social media, she condemned the killings and highlighted the ongoing insecurity in Nigeria, expressing disappointment over the government's inability to safeguard its citizens. Akpoti-Uduaghan emphasized the growing frustration among Nigerians regarding recurrent attacks on vulnerable communities and called for a comprehensive overhaul of Nigeria's security framework.

She urged the Defence Minister to prove that security measures can effectively protect lives, stating that citizens are tired of condolences and excuses.
