Samuel Idoko Wins Kogi PDP Assembly Ticket for 2027

Samuel Idoko, a journalist and media strategist, has been nominated as the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ogugu State Constituency seat in the upcoming 2027 Kogi State House of Assembly elections. Idoko, who currently serves as the head of media for Senator Natasha Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan, received the PDP certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after emerging as the sole candidate through an unopposed nomination process.

He expressed gratitude to the PDP leadership and the constituents of Ogugu for their confidence in him. Idoko emphasized his commitment to a welfare-driven campaign, focusing on community development rather than personal interests.

He outlined his priorities, which include sponsoring legislation to improve infrastructure, expanding access to quality education and healthcare, and creating economic opportunities for youth and women. Idoko called for unity among party members to achieve electoral victory in 2027.
