MRS Cuts Petrol Prices in Lagos After Dangote Refineries' Rate Reduction

MRS has reduced petrol prices to N739 per liter in Lagos after Dangote Refineries slashed their rates. This move has brought relief to consumers facing high fuel costs, although price cuts were not consistent across all areas.

While some MRS stations maintained higher prices, non-MRS stations continued selling petrol at prices ranging from N850 to N890 per liter. The Petroleum Product Retail Outlet Owner Association (PetroAN) criticized the enforcement of pump prices by individuals and corporations.
