Tinubu Inaugurates Judges' Housing, Stresses Welfare

On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated newly built housing units for judges of the Federal High Court in Katampe District, Abuja. He stated that the independence of the judiciary is fundamentally linked to the welfare of judges, asserting that a dignified judicial environment is essential for a just legal system.

Tinubu urged judges to dispense justice swiftly and without compromise, reinforcing the administration's commitment to judicial independence and the rule of law. He commended Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for his effective public service and timely project completion.

The housing project aims to provide secure accommodations for judges and senior officials of the judiciary, reflecting the government's dedication to rebuilding trust in national institutions. Chief Justice John Tsoho expressed his delight at the inauguration, emphasizing the significance of the project for the judiciary's operational environment.
