He is the Founder and Principal Partner of M. A. Banire & Associates and serves as Pro-Chancellor of the University of Uyo. He holds the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
Mrs. Chinazo Okoye has been appointed as Alternate Director to Dr. Ernest N. Azudialu-Obiejesi, OFR, effective June 17, 2026. She holds engineering degrees from the University of Michigan and Cornell University, as well as a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. She is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and currently serves as Managing Director of Amaranta Trading Limited.
