Nigerian Army Rescues Abducted Officer in Delta State - Joint Operation Success

The Nigerian Army successfully rescued Major MD Josiah, an officer abducted by gunmen in Delta State. The operation, a joint effort involving meticulous planning and community collaboration, led to Josiah's freedom on September 9.

Despite sustaining a gunshot wound during the rescue, Josiah received medical care and is in stable condition. The Army spokesperson, Iliyasu Bawa Rijau, praised the troops' bravery and emphasized the Army's commitment to maintaining peace and security in Delta State.

Brigadier General Shonibare commended the community for their support in the rescue mission.
