Court Orders PDP to Proceed with National Convention in Ibadan

The High Court in Oyo State has directed the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and its National Chairman, Umar Damagum, to proceed with their National Convention set for November 15 in Ibadan. This decision comes after an earlier ruling in Abuja had halted the convention.

The court order follows an application by Folahan Malomo Adelabi seeking to prevent any disruptions to the convention. The judge also instructed the PDP to give a statutory 21-day notice to INEC regarding the proposed convention.
