DSS Arrests Buhari's Ally in Lagos Over Property Dispute

The Department of State Services (DSS) arrested Ikechi Emenike, a political ally of former President Muhammadu Buhari, in Lagos over a property dispute. Emenike, a former presidential aide, was taken into custody by armed men at his Surulere office without a warrant.

His wife, Uzoma Emenike, serves as Nigeria's ambassador to the United States. The arrest has not been publicly addressed by the DSS.

Emenike, a politician from Abia state, has had a close relationship with Buhari during his time in power.
