Stanlei Hail, an Edo politician, has officially entered the race for the APC presidential nomination by purchasing a nomination form valued at N100 million. This purchase was completed today at the Sheraton Hotel in Abuja, ahead of the party's primary elections.

Hail's decision to challenge incumbent President Bola Tinubu comes as Tinubu is anticipated to seek re-election on the APC platform, having assumed office in 2023. Although Hail has not yet formally declared his intent to run, his acquisition of the nomination form signifies his serious interest in contesting for the party's ticket in the upcoming presidential primaries.
