JUST IN: FG Meets Ibom Air Passenger Comfort Emmanson Over Airport Drama

The Federal Government recently held a meeting with Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger at the center of a viral altercation at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The meeting, which took place on Thursday, was attended by officials from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and Emmanson's legal counsel.

The NCAA's Director of Public Affairs, Michael Achimugu, confirmed the development and stated that the regulatory agency had also met with Ibom Air flight attendant Julie Edwards and other crew members involved in the dispute on August 10. The tension aboard Ibom Air flight QI0310 escalated into an airport drama when Emmanson allegedly refused to switch off her mobile phone, leading to a heated exchange and physical confrontation.

The NCAA is collaborating with various departments to ensure a proper conclusion to the investigation.
